Mass Air Flow MAF Meter Sensor This mass air flow sensor is only applicable to Toyota 3.0L V6 3VZE engines - 1988-1995 Toyota Truck 4 Runner V6 3.0L, 1988-1995 Toyota Truck Pickup 3.0L. Please note that this mass air flow sensor does not fit Pickup 2.4L engines! The mass air flow sensor is typically located between the air filter and the engine's intake manifold. It uses a heated wire or thin-film element to measure airflow. As air flows through the element, it cools down. Based on this cooling effect, the MAF sensor calculates and sends an electrical signal to the engine control unit, providing important data about air flow. To debug the sensor: 1. Check the cable and connector for proper contact. 2. Clear the fault code. 3. Cycle the power on and off three times, each cycle for three minutes. Condition: NEW with minimum to no sign of use.
