R Serial # 157420. 9mm Luger caliber semi auto pistol with a 4-1/2” barrel. The bore is good with good rifling with moderate frosting in the grooves. 13 round magazine with a metal follower, the magazine is marked only “7U”. Made in Belgium during German occupation c. mid-1942. Type II pistol without the shoulder stock cut, fixed sights and a magazine safety. The frame and slide are WaA 140 marked. The original wartime blued metal finish on the slide is in good condition showing thinning and scratches with patches of bare metal. The blued metal finish on the frame is in good condition showing thinning, edge wear and light scratching. There is some light freckling on the rear back strap. The checkered walnut grips are in good to very good condition showing little wear. The barrel, frame and slide are all matching. The action works fine and is tight. Includes 2 modern 13 round replacement magazines. C&R.
