R Serial # AA15809. .30-30 Win. caliber lever action rifle with a 20” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. 2/3 length magazine tube. Made in 1965. The metal finish on the barrel and magazine tube is in poor condition; it is a brownish gray patina with scattered scratches and light surface rust. The blued metal finish on the receiver and lever is in fair condition showing heavy wear and thinning with older cleaned surface rust. The plain hardwood stock and forearm are in very good condition showing light marks with finish wear. There is a crack on the left side of the butt. Non-factory red rubber recoil pad. Original front and rear sights. The action works fine. Includes a Valor 3-9x40 scope in Weaver mounts and a leather sling. The Model 36G was made from 1964-1983 to promote the Glenfield product line. C&R.
