R Serial # NSN. .22 Sh-L-LR caliber manually cocked single shot bolt action rifle with a 22” barrel. The bore is good, dirty with light fouling with good rifling, it should clean better. Made by Mossberg for the Taylor Fur Company, it was made from 1928-1930. The metal finish on the barrel and receiver is a rusty brown patina showing dings, scratches and paint spatter. The plain hardwood stock has been cut down and is in fair condition showing dings, scratches and finish wear with paint spatter. Rusty steel butt plate. Original front and rear sights missing the rear elevator. The action works fine. C&R.
