Michel (Mi) 115 (not Mi 43), the 1920 Weimar Republic / Deutsches Reich 2½ Mark (2.50 Mark) “Seid Einig, Einig, Einig” definitive in rose-lilac (to dark rose-lilac) shades. Wiesbaden cancel (readable as Wiesbaden with date elements consistent with ~20 May 1920, e.g., “20.5.20” style markings). This is a genuine period postmark on a high-value denomination of the era and does not harm value—nice legible town cancels are preferred by many collectors over heavy or illegible ones. The stamp appears sound overall (perfs largely intact, no major thins or tears visible in the photos), though the cancel is fairly bold/heavy across the design. Common shades (rose-lilac group): roughly $1–8 USD / €1–7, with most average pieces in the $2–5 range.Catalog (Michel) values for used common shades are correspondingly modest (often in the low single-digit euros range for basic used); rare shades or certified plate flaws can be higher (e.g., certain shade listings with BPP expertization have been offered around €40–50 when catalog notes higher).
