1902 Indian Head Cent from the Philadelphia Mint (no mint mark).Standard bronze composition (95% copper, 5% tin & zinc).Obverse: Liberty wearing the Native American-style headdress, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” and the date 1902.Reverse: Oak wreath with a Union shield at the top and “ONE CENT” in the center.Mintage was very high at approximately 87.4 million, making this one of the more common dates in the Indian Head series.Condition AssessmentThe coin shows moderate, even wear with a uniform chocolate-brown color. The headdress feathers and facial details are still visible, and the reverse wreath and lettering retain decent definition. It appears to grade in the Very Good to Fine (VG-8 to F-12) range.
