An early 20th-century netted glass bead pouch, likely Iroquois (Haudenosaunee) in origin, of a type made for the tourist or souvenir market. The piece features a body of openwork netting in translucent green seed beads, with a central geometric star motif rendered in opaque red beads. The bottom edge is finished with a looped fringe, each strand terminating in a single opaque turquoise-colored bead, and a twisted bead strap completes the purse.

Iroquois Haudenosaunee Native American Beadwork Whimsy Pouch Purse Victorian Souvenir Netted

Dust Factory Auctions offers antique and vintage items that proudly display the natural signs of their age and previous use.
