An early 20th-century carved wood figural smoking pipe. The bowl is carved in the form of a head of a bearded man wearing a winged helmet, possibly representing a Gallic warrior. The pipe is fitted with a sterling silver collar connecting the wood shank to a vulcanite stem, bearing Birmingham hallmarks for sterling silver, the date letter 'M' for 1911, and the maker's mark 'C G M', likely for Charles George Maseto.

Figural Pipe Carved Pipe Tobacciana Smoking Pipe Antique English Silver Birmingham 1911 Sterling

Dust Factory Auctions offers antique and vintage items that proudly display the natural signs of their age and previous use.
