The lot includes numerous lithographed and celluloid pinback buttons relating to the 1964 presidential election, featuring candidates such as Barry Goldwater and Hubert Humphrey, along with buttons for Peggy Goldwater. A significant portion of the collection focuses on Wisconsin politics with large buttons for gubernatorial candidate Philip G. Kuehn and Warren P. Knowles, and a congressional pin for William A. Steiger. Also included is a commemorative button from the 1964 G.O.P.
