A Bohemian vaseline glass vase, likely dating to the second half of the 19th century. The vase features a two-part conical form with a castellated rim, resting on a gilt metal pedestal base. It is decorated with hand-painted gilt foliate swags and a central band of polychrome enamel florals. The pale yellow-green glass fluoresces brightly under ultraviolet light, confirming the presence of uranium.

Uranium Glass Vaseline Glass Bohemian Biedermeier Gilt Enamel Mantle Vase Spill Vase 19th Century

Dust Factory Auctions offers antique and vintage items that proudly display the natural signs of their age and previous use.
