An 'Ideal' model cast iron still bank, likely manufactured by the J. & E. Stevens Company of Cromwell, Connecticut, circa the late 19th or early 20th century. The bank is constructed in the form of a floor safe with elaborate scrollwork decoration, a hinged door with a non-functional combination dial, and a coin slot on the reverse. The door is embossed with 'IDEAL BANK' and the underside is marked 'PAT APLD FOR'.

J&E Stevens Cromwell Connecticut Cast Iron Toy Bank Safe Still Bank Pat Apld For Antique Victorian

Dust Factory Auctions offers antique and vintage items that proudly display the natural signs of their age and previous use.
