Modernist gilt and silver-tone brass monstrance featuring a central circular viewing glass mounted within a cross and halo ring assembly, supported by a cylindrical stem and round pedestal base. Collector's Note: The Monstrance is a sacred liturgical vessel used in the Roman Catholic to display the consecrated Eucharistic host (the Bread of the Eucharist) during ceremonies such as Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, Eucharistic adoration, and processions.
