Lot of three American lapel pins includes a 1918 Fourth Liberty Loan pinback button featuring a four-striped flag design, a bronze-toned screw-back lapel pin for the Izaak Walton League of America, and a modern enamel United States flag pin with a clutch back fastening. Collector's Note: Fourth Liberty Loan Pin (1918): button represents a critical home-front effort during World War I. The "Liberty Loans" were war bonds issued by the U.S. Treasury Department to fund the war. The unique four-striped flag design on this specific pin symbolizes the "Honor Flag," awarded to communities that met or exceeded their sales quotas during the fourth liberty loan drive in late 1918. The Izaak Walton League of America bronze-toned screw-back pin represents one of the earliest and most influential conservation organizations in the United States, founded in 1922.
