Advertising and Decorative Tins. An assortment of vintage lithographed metal containers featuring various advertising brands, landscapes, and decorative motifs. Notable items include a round Hershey's Chocolate tin with a lid illustrating two children eating cake, and a large rectangular Huyler's New York tin with gold-toned scrollwork and figures in 18th-century attire. The collection features a round tin depicting the Currier and Ives American Homestead Winter scene with a dark blue border. A novelty red cylindrical tin is shaped like a farm silo, featuring a grey conical lid and farm scene graphics with children and animals. Another rectangular tin is decorated to resemble a crate of fruit, marked Perfect Pears and NWPC with the numerical code 1172/10018+. Additional designs include a blue and white Wedgwood-style tin with putti and acanthus scrollwork, an Oriental-style cylindrical container with floral and butterfly motifs, and various tins with winter landscapes and floral arrangements including orange roses.
