This is a 19th-century Mexican retablo depicting the Holy Trinity, often painted on tin.It features the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost as three identical figures seated on clouds, surrounded by cherubic faces.Similar antique pieces have sold at auction for between $399 and $2,400 depending on condition and material.Such depictions were historically controversial and at one time banned by the Catholic Church. Painted on metal, maybe copper.
