WWII US Winchester Model M1 .30 caliber carbine. 1st production block. Muzzle gauges 0.5. Receiver stamped US Carbine - Cal 30 M1. Barrel stamped faint W and proof mark. Type I-A front sight. Type II rear sight stamped with shielded H. Low wood oval cut stock with W in sling well. Web sling. Oiler. One magazine stamped IW on back. Caliber / Gauge: 30 Carbine Barrel Length: 18" Serial Number: 1158939 Classification: C&R / FFL Condition: Barrel: Light finish loss with light scuffs. Bore: Light wear with good rifling. Receiver: Light finish loss. Stock: Light wear with 1”x1.25” square cut out of forend behind barrel band. Mechanically good.
