This rectangular linen or cotton blend textile features decorative hand-style embroidery. The piece displays a humorous quote: 'Although you'll find our house a mess... Come in-sit down-converse. It doesn't always look like this... Some days it's even worse.' The design is illustrated with an embroidered scene including a person sitting on a stool holding a pet, a bird, a hanging cage, a fan, and scattered household items. The embroidery uses various thread colors against a light off-white or cream-colored fabric background.
