This teacup and saucer set features a pale blue ground with ornate gilt trim and edges. The cup is footed and includes an interior decoration depicting a figure in a landscape. The exterior of the cup and the surface of the saucer are decorated with multiple repeating vignettes showing pastoral scenes with figures in 18th-century style dress. The saucer is designed with a scalloped edge and raised, gilded accent panels between the vignettes. The handle of the cup is gilded and features detailed scrollwork.
