Dick Dale, Jan & Dean and Surf Battle This collection of original 1960s surf rock vinyl albums showcases foundational releases of the genre. It features two copies of Dick Dale and His Del-Tones’ highly influential 1963 LP King of the Surf Guitar. Accompanying them are Jan & Dean’s landmark Surf City and Other Swingin' Cities and the live compilation album Surf Battle!, which documents a high-energy multi-band competition recorded at Santa Monica's Deauville Club in March 1963.
