Elgin 14Kt. Yellow Gold Lady's Hunting Case Watch with 14Kt. Chain. Marked on the inside of case, "Solidarity 14K U.S. ASSAY, 162403." Inscribed on back cover, "Papa To Ruby 5-15-03." Evidently the photo on front would be "Papa." Works are Elgin 15 Jewel. Porcelain dial has image of gentleman. The exterior of the case is decorated with 14Kt. multi-colored applied ornate floral, bird motifs in multiple gold tones (yellow, rose, and white). Watch measures approximately 33.8mm diameter; 11mm thick. Comes with a 14Kt. yellow gold 29 1/4" slide-chain. Chain: 2.38mm wide. Chain tested 14Kt. Chain mounts are gold plated (slide and clasp). Total weight (including works and gold plated chain mounts): 1.91 Troy Ounces (59.4 grams). From the Estate of Larece P. Hathcock, Corinth, Mississippi. Condition- Ran at inventory. Good condition. The porcelain dial has (1) faint, hairline crack at #11-top of second dial. See photos.
