Description: Vintage 1930s Uniform hand-crank nut and meat chopper fitted with a clear Hazel-Atlas glass collection jar. The metal hopper is embossed “NUT MEAT CHOPPER” and marked Patent No. 2,001,075. The glass jar bears the Hazel-Atlas maker’s mark and mold number 5935. Features its original metal chopping mechanism, orange-painted screw-on lid, hand crank, and wooden handle. The crank and internal chopping drum turn freely. A wonderful example of early American kitchenware for a farmhouse, primitive kitchen, or vintage utensil collection. Because of its age and surface oxidation, this piece is best considered collectible or decorative unless thoroughly cleaned and evaluated before food use. Condition: Good vintage condition with noticeable paint loss, scratches, discoloration, and surface rust on the metal components consistent with age and use. The glass jar has no visible chips or cracks. The mechanism appears complete and turns freely. Please review all photos for the most accurate representation of condition.
