Century Chair Company armchair featuring black leather upholstery w/ tufted seat cushion, brass nail head trim, & carved wood frame. The chair displays wear consistent w/age, including creases, visible cracking, & scuffs in the leather, as well as some scratching & minor cracking in the wood arms. Floral carving accent is present on the backrest. Manufacturer label under the seat notes Century Chair Co., Hickory, N.C. Currently located in the basement.
