This hand-carved wooden skier figure is assembled from several contrasting wood tones. The body is carved from a rich reddish brown wood, the pointed stocking cap is banded in lighter blond wood, and the scarf is carved from a dark ebony toned wood with fringed ends. The figure has articulated arms holding wire ski poles with round baskets and stands on a pair of carved wooden skis. The skier stands approximately 10 inches tall and the skis measure about 11 inches long. It is in very good condition with a smooth polished finish and no notable damage.
