This handcrafted folk art sculpture depicts a carousel swing ride formed entirely from copper. A tall pitched tent roof topped by a small flag finial rises above a scalloped platform where whimsical seated figures hang from twisted wire swings and chains. The fenced circular base features a short ladder and a scalloped rail, and the piece carries a colorful iridescent heat patina across the roof and body from the torch soldering process. It stands approximately 10 inches tall and about 7 inchesin diameter. In good overall condition with light denting to the roof, a bent flag, some verdigris spotting, and a small opening in one base panel consistent with age and handmade construction.
