This pair of cut glass crystal covered candy dishes features deep diamond and hobnail cutting with radiating starburst motifs on the bases. The taller globe-form dish has a domed lid topped by a tall pointed diamond-cut finial and stands about 8 inches to the top of the finial. The smaller dish has a teardrop or onion-shaped lid with a pointed knop rising about 4 inches. Both bowls and lids are present. The glass is bright and clear with strong sparkle and no obvious chips or cracks noted. Bothpieces are in very good condition. Estimated Value: $25 to $50 based on comparable recent sales.
