This is a Lenox Architects Tea Set bearing the green Lenox wreath backstamp reading Architects Tea Set 1933 Copyright. The cream colored porcelain is decorated with sepia and black transfer scenes of American landmarks including Federal Hall New York, University of Virginia, Monticello, Mount Vernon, Independence Hall, the Santa Barbara Mission, and a Charleston residence, all trimmed in copper lustre. The set comprises a covered teapot, a covered sugar bowl, a creamer, multiple cups and saucers, and four dessert plates. The teapot and sugar lids have molded eagle finials finished in amethyst lustre. The pieces are glossy and display very good condition with no obvious chips or cracks visible in the photographs.
