This vintage powder or trinket jar is made of iridescent marigold carnival glass with a warm amber orange tone and a reflective finish. The round base has a ribbed lower body and a domed lid topped with a molded frosted poodle finial in the same iridized glass. Attributed to the Jeannette Glass Company and dating to the mid twentieth century, the jar measures approximately four inches tall and three and one half inches in diameter. The lid seats securely over the base. The piece is in good condition with light wear consistent with age and no visible chips or cracks noted.
