Complete set of six limited edition BNSF Railway collector plates issued in 2004 to recognize employees for injury-free performance. Each plate features an official archival black-and-white photograph highlighting the rich history of BNSF and its predecessor railroads, including the Pioneer Zephyr, Santa Fe Warbonnet, Burlington Route streamliners, historic steam locomotives, railroad crews, and early rail yards. These plates were not sold at retail, but were specially commissioned by BNSF as employee recognition awards. Each plate is individually numbered from a limited edition of 45,000 and displays official BNSF backstamps.
