Life-size plaster life mask depicting a human face with closed eyes and relaxed facial features, mounted on a custom wood display stand. The hollow cast construction retains embedded wire reinforcement visible inside the casting, suggesting it was created as a molded life mask or sculptural study. Finished in white plaster with a matte surface, the piece exhibits hand-worked characteristics and visible casting marks. Surface wear, scuffs, scratches, and small areas of discoloration are present consistent with age and handling. No artist signature or maker’s marks are visible in the photographs. An unusual decorative and collectible sculptural piece with appeal for artists, medical history enthusiasts, theatrical display, or collectors of studio casts.
