Large assortment of vintage kitchen cutlery and carving tools including numerous chef’s knives, butcher knives, paring knives, steak knives, carving knives, a carving fork, honing steels with turned wood and antler-style handles, and additional assorted knives housed in a cardboard box. Several knives feature wood, composite, or ivory-tone handles with riveted construction, and original boxes for a Trident Dreizack Solingen cook’s knife and a Wenger Swiss kitchen knife are included. Makers’ marks visible include Trident Dreizack Solingen, Kochmesser, Wenger, and a honing steel marked “Made in Germany.” The collection appears to date from the mid to late 20th century and is crafted from stainless steel, carbon steel, wood, and synthetic handle materials. Visible wear consistent with age and use includes scratches, patina, finish wear, and sharpening marks, with condition varying throughout the group.
