Vintage brass Dayton hand fire extinguisher manufactured by The Fyr-Fyter Company of Dayton, Ohio, featuring the original black and gold instruction label identifying it as a Dayton Fire Extinguisher charged with carbon tetrachloride. Includes the original pump-style operating handle and cylindrical brass body with inspection markings and serial numbering visible near the base. Displays an aged brass patina with surface wear, scratches, oxidation, and finish loss consistent with age and use while retaining strong display character. A desirable piece of early firefighting memorabilia with excellent appeal for collectors of fire service, industrial, or advertising antiques.
