rare antique Victorian or Edwardian era orange peeler featuring an Art Nouveau hollow silver handle beautifully adorned with relief-molded scrolling foliage, floral motifs, and vertical reeding. The specialized brass-toned or gold-washed steel functional head is designed specifically for citrus processing, utilizing a sharp, downward-curved top prong to score vertical slits into the outer rind and a flat, semi-circular crescent blade to slide beneath and pry away the skin without damaging the inner fruit.
