owley Auctions Firearm Auction General Terms: Must be 18 years of age or older to bid on auction Must be 18 years of age or older to purchase long guns or ammo Must be 21 years of age or older to purchase handguns. Buyer will be required to pass a NIC background check, the ATF requires all FFL dealers in the state of MI to run a NICS background check on any individual, even if they do possess a valid CPL. Rowley Auctions Company Policy: Even if buyer has a LTP (RI-010a), a NIC background check will be required to purchase. Copy of Docs: All Purchases of Handguns & Long Guns Buyer's Must Provide a Valid I.D. - Rowley Auctions Will Make a Copy of I.D., CPL and or LTP each Purchase. For Buyers That Live Outside of Michigan: (a.) long guns may be picked up at our location OR sent to an FFL dealer in your state. (b.) Handguns are required to be shipped to an FFL dealer in your state for pick up. If you are between the age of 18 and 20, your background check will automatically be delayed. Processing Fees & Terms: There will be a $10.00 processing fee for EACH firearm through Rowley's Auction Service, LLC. to complete final purchase. Please bring either a trigger lock or a gun case for each gun that you purchase. If you do not have a gun case, you can purchase one from Rowley Auctions for $10.00 at the time of checkout. FFL Dealers will need to bring a copy of their FFL license and driver's license upon purchase. Handgun Purchases: Buyers with a valid CPL must bring it on the pickup day, a NICS background check must also be performed in Conjunction with the CPL. Buyers WITHOUT a valid CPL must FIRST obtain prior to auction pickup day a License to Purchase (LTP form RI-010A) issued by their local police department, a NICS background check must also be performed in Conjunction with the LTP. Long Gun Purchases: Long gun buyers do not need to show evidence of a CPL. Federal NICS background checks are performed like usual with the addition of a Firearms Transaction Record (this is performed by Rowley's Auction Service, LLC., not the buyer). As-IS Where-Is: Firearms are NOT TEST FIRED by Rowley's Auction Service, LLC. It is the buyer's responsibility to use their own best judgment or request information about firearm conditions PRIOR to placing bids. Prior to firing any firearm Rowley's Auction Service, LLC. recommend buyers have firearms inspected by a competent and licensed gunsmith. BUYER NAME & INFO MUST MATCH BIDDER PROFILE! If buyer name & info does not match person purchasing/pickup firearm, all sales will be voided. No exceptions! Attention: ALL Firearm Purchases will require a NICS Background Check regardless of type of firearm. Example, antique, black powder, etc. If you cannot pass a NICS Background Check, DO NOT BID! (Unless FFL Dealer) Doc Fee, Trigger Lock & Case All high bids from individuals (Non-FFL Dealers) on firearms will be required to complete a NICS Background Check during time of checkout.
