A vintage grey stoneware beer stein featuring the multi-color transfer logo for "Augustiner-Bräu München" on the front. The branding features a yellow bishop's crosier emblem and the initials "J.W." set against a blue serrated square background, positioned above text reading "gegründet 1328" to honor Munich's oldest independent brewery. The cylindrical vessel incorporates a sturdy loop handle and a smooth, uniform glaze. A "0.5 l" fluid capacity mark is cleanly stamped in relief near the upper rim. On the unglazed bottom surface, the mug features a distinct stamped "West Germany" mark, along with an incised geometric manufacturer's logo. Measuring approximately 5.5 inches (14.0 cm) in height and 3.5 inches in diameter, the heavy-walled half-liter stein is in excellent condition with no visible chips or cracks. The bottom rim exhibits dark shelf scuffs and light wear from normal use. PM
