Hand-Painted Green & Yellow Plaid Set of 6 - 9.75" Dinner Plates. No crack or chips. "Gingham" dinnerware pattern originally debuted under Vernon Kilns in the 1930s, designed by artist Gale Turnbull. When Vernon Kilns closed in 1958, Metlox Pottery acquired their molds and patterns, continuing production under the "Vernonware by Metlox" backstamp until changing market trends led the company to close in 1989
