Vintage Delfts large wall charger plates made by Boch for Royal Sphinx Holland (Maastricht, Netherlands) One featuring a classic blue and white Dutch pastoral windmill and harbor river scene and Key DetailsDesign: Blue and white transferware with hand-painted touches depicting a traditional Dutch landscape with a windmill, waterfront, boats, and figures.Size: Approximately 15 to 15.5 inches in diameter (large charger/platter size).Back Stamp/Origin: Crafted mid-20th century by Boch in Belgium for Royal Sphinx Maastricht, Holland, often equipped with built-in holes on the back rim for wall hanging. The second plate is antique French Moustiers faience wall plate featuring a hand-painted blue hunting scene in the style of Antonio Tempesta.Origin & Period: Produced in Moustiers, France, during the late 17th to 18th century by the Clérissy workshop tradition.Design: Decorated in blue monochrome (camaïeu bleu) on a tin-glazed white earthenware body, showcasing a classical equestrian hunting motif surrounded by a patterned scalloped border.
