Four antique softcover almanacs: Turner's Carolina Almanac (Winston-Salem, N.C.) for 1931, 1935, and 1936 (sold by Wheless Drug Co., Farmville, N.C.), plus Blum's Farmer's and Planter's Almanac for 1936, 108th year (Winston-Salem, N.C.; sold by Hood's Drug Store, Dunn, N.C.), inscribed "John A. McKay Jr., 100 East Divine Street, Dunn, N.C." Orange pictorial wrappers with blue building engraving, black/red borders, gray cloth spines, approx. 6 x 9 in. Interior pages include period advertising (Kow-Kare, California Fig Syrup, Hanes Underwear) and court calendar listings. Condition: toned pages, worn/chipped edges, light soiling; bindings intact.
