Pair of vintage handwoven hand fans. The first is a natural woven straw fan with a herringbone weave, an openwork diamond cutout accent, and a lacquered bamboo handle in red and black with orange tips and is about 14" long. The second is a round paddle-shaped fan woven from dyed straw in purple and green geometric diamond patterns against natural tan, with a plain bamboo handle measuring about 12" long overall. Natural fan shows fraying at the weave edge near the handle attachment; dyed fan has a small split/crack in the weave at the handle insertion point. Colors and weave otherwise intact with light wear consistent with age.
