This is a pair of remarkable Scottie Dog ceramic pieces made in Occupied Japan. Hand-painted black-and-white ceramic Scottish Terrier figural groups, marked "Hand Painted, Made in Occupied Japan" on the base — dating them to 1945–1952. Piece 1: Mother Scottie seated with two pups nestled against her, all in bold black-and-white splashed glaze. Piece 2: Companion piece — a pup lying beside a small figural boot/shoe planter or toothpick holder, same black-and-white palette. Dimensions: Approx. 3–4" long each (per photographed measurements). Condition: Good overall for the age — no chips or breaks visible
