Lot 62107 – This Uberti U.S. Model 1847 Walker percussion revolver chambered in .44 caliber is a striking reproduction of one of the most legendary black powder revolvers ever designed. Featuring a massive 9-inch barrel, traditional percussion ignition, and substantial steel construction, the Walker revolver was originally developed in cooperation with Captain Samuel Walker and became one of the most powerful repeating handguns of the nineteenth century. Rated in Fair condition, this example features a painted receiver, includes a leather holster, and is chambered for black powder use. Buyers should note that it needs work to operate, making it an appealing restoration project for black powder enthusiasts. Uberti is internationally respected for producing historically accurate reproductions, and the Walker remains one of the most iconic percussion revolvers ever built.
