Vintage Shakespeare Silent Tru-Art automatic fly-fishing reel, no. 1837, model GB. Made in the U.S.A. and finished in dark green with decorative embossed detailing and a metal mounting foot and release lever. The identification matches documented examples of this model. Reference Reel shows scratches, scuffs, finish loss, tarnish, oxidation, dirt, and general age-related wear, as pictured. Automatic winding mechanism has not been tested; working condition is unknown. Fishing line is not included. Please review photos carefully for condition.
