This is an authentic Daniel Brevete Beetle bootjack made by Daniel Brevete Iron Works in Paris, France, Circa. In 1870-1899, this is very nice as it is practical for assistance in removing shoes and boots. This would be a great family heirloom to have. Function: These boot jacks were designed to assist in the removal of boots. Material and Design: They are typically made of cast iron, with a beetle shape.
