Series Plate Collection. This is the first issue in the Budweiser Archives Series Plate Collection, titled "1893 Columbian Exposition." The plate features a depiction of Lady Liberty, draped in the American flag, holding a glass of beer aloft. To her right is a Budweiser barrel with the Anheuser-Busch eagle emblem. The design is rendered in a classical style, evoking the spirit of the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition held in Chicago, which celebrated the 400th anniversary of Columbus's arrival in the New World. The plate is made of porcelain and is part of a limited edition.
