This vintage folk art doll, likely from the mid-20th century, features a stylized figure made of tightly wound, braided cord, possibly raffia. The doll has a hand-painted face with exaggerated features and wears a suit, shirt, and tie, all constructed from the same braided material. It stands on a polished wooden base with a small metal plaque inscribed "Cuban." The craftsmanship suggests a handmade item, possibly a souvenir or decorative piece with cultural significance.
