1930s. A General Electric 'Monitor Top' refrigerating machine, Type CA-1-B16, produced in Schenectady, N.Y. circa the 1930s. The unit comprises a white enameled steel cabinet on four cabriole-style legs, with a foot pedal mechanism for opening the door.
