An industrial foundry pattern/pulley, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. This piece is constructed of wood with a central two-part block painted black, which is secured by four large steel bolts and nuts. The object appears to be a pattern for sand casting an industrial part, possibly a large bearing housing or pipe clamp. The front of the central block is stamped with the numbers '18 5 0'.

Foundry Pattern Mold Casting Industrial Steampunk Wood Machine Age

Dust Factory Auctions offers antique and vintage items that proudly display the natural signs of their age and previous use.
