An advertising tin pail, likely American manufacture, circa early to mid-20th century. This 10-pound capacity pail was for 'Swift's sliced Beef Livers' from Swift & Company, U.S.A. The galvanized metal bucket features a paper label with company and product information, including the 'U.S. INSPECTED AND PASSED BY DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE' mark, and is fitted with a wire bail handle.
