Transfer & Background Check Policies Background Checks: Robbie's Auction Service handles all required paperwork, including ATF Form 4473 and Wisconsin handgun forms. Long Guns: Free background check. Handguns: $10.00 per background check. Age Requirements: Long Guns: Buyers must be 18 years or older. Handguns & Pistol Grip Long Guns: Buyers must be 21 years or older. Out-of-State Purchases: Any handguns or pistol-grip long guns sold out of state must either be shipped to an FFL in your state of residency or require the buyer to hold a current FFL. Buyers are responsible for all shipping and handling fees. Shipping: All handguns and pistol-grip long guns are shipped via USPS Priority Mail or UPS. Processing Time: Please allow adequate time for staff to complete all necessary paperwork and background checks. Important Note on Delays: If you are traveling a long distance to pick up your firearm, please be aware that background check delays can occur. If the ATF delays your approval, you may be required to return at a later date once final clearance is granted.
