Hinged Lid, Dated 1868/1888. Silver-plated metal pitcher by Meriden Britannia Company, marked 'Quadruple Plate,' with patent dates 'June 13, 1868' and 'Nov. 3, 1888.' Features include a hinged lid with a finial, a spout with decorative scrollwork, and a sturdy handle. Interior ceramic liner shows damage, while the underside evidences tarnish and wear, consistent with age. Approximate height is 8.5 inches, as shown with a ruler.
