William Shakespeare, Vol. II' (1839) and 'The Merchant of Venice' (1925). Two books: (1) 'The Dramatic Works of William Shakespeare, Vol. II,' edited by Isaac Reed and published by Harper & Brothers, New York, 1839. Hardcover with a marbled paper exterior, showing significant wear, including spine damage and loose binding. (2) 'The Merchant of Venice,' part of 'The New Hudson Shakespeare' series, copyrighted in 1925 by Ginn & Company. Softcover with an introductory essay and annotations by Henry Norman Hudson. Both books exhibit wear consistent with age, including torn edges and discoloration.
